There are two types of products that can be shown on the homepage

Products from Specific Category

To show products from a specific category, login to the admin panel of your store and go to Content ? Pages from the left side of the page.

Navigate to Select and click on Edit from the Home Page’s dropdown as shown below:

Now scroll down and go to the Content section. Click on Insert widget option from the editor.

Select Catalog Products List from Widget Type options and provide all the details according to your need. At the end of this page there is a Conditions attribute, select Category from the options and choose the category which you want to show on the homepage of your store. Now just click on Insert Widget.

After adding the widget for displaying products from a specific category, click on Save Page.

Recently Added Products

To show recently added products on the homepage, click on Insert Widget option again from the editor.

Select Catalog New Products List from Widget Type options and also provide all the details according to your need. Now just click on Insert Widget.

After adding the widget for displaying new products, just click on Save Page.

And you’re all done! Just launch the homepage of your store and you will see your desired result.
